I am more excited for this month’s favorites than I have been any other month because a good amount of the products were new to me and quickly became part of my everyday routine. I was also really blown away by the quality of the new products I tried – especially by the products that are from the drugstore! Let’s get right into it:

Urban Decay Naked Palette: I have used this palette so much over the past month, and really rediscovered my love for it. It is the most perfect palette for creating a simple, pretty daytime look, and for achieving the most beautiful bronze smokey eye for night. If any of you are contemplating purchasing this product, or want to try out something in the Naked range, I can’t recommend this original Naked Palette enough!

Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon: If you’re looking for an intense black waterproof and smudge proof liner, this is the product for you. It is the only eyeliner I’ve used that stays put on the waterline and doesn’t budge throughout the day – perfect for a long day [or night!].

Mac Teddy Eye Kohl: I have been loving smudging this golden brown kohl liner on my upper and lower lash lines, or on my waterline for an easy smokey look.

Nyx Illuminator in Magnetic: I am crazy about this finely-milled, golden-peachy highlighter. I haven’t had it long at all, but have used it every single day since I received it. I also love how it can be used as an all over bronzer, blush, or cheek bone highlight.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer: I have gotten back into illuminating, brightening concealers this month, and I may like Maybelline’s version even better than my YSL Touche Eclat! It completely covers dark circles while brightening the under-eye area. I also like to apply a bit of product to the bridge of my nose and cupids bow.

Tom Ford Lip Color in Pink Dusk: This lipstick is the ultimate everyday shade – not too pink, not too nude, not too brown, just the perfect combination for a creamy my-lips-but-better color. If you’re looking to invest in a sophisticated lipstick for everyday wear, Tom Ford’s lip color formula is creamy, long-lasting and opaque with one swipe.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Just Peachy: I love everything about these glosses; the color payoff, formula, scent and packaging are perfection. Just Peachy is a gorgeous, creamy light peach that I have been enjoying wearing with just a bit of black liquid liner on my eyes.

Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing Gloss in Liar: The Naked Nourishing glosses are so smooth and hydrating, and the shade Liar is a chic, neutral pink that is perfect for everyday. I also love the rose gold packaging and mint scent.

Soap & Glory Hand Food: I have never been a hand lotion person; I can’t stand the greasy feeling that is left over with some lotions. Enter Soap & Glory’s Hand Food – a hand lotion that leaves my hands feeling incredibly soft and not the least bit greasy or residue-y. I also love that it is compact enough to fit in a purse, and am crazy about the slightly sweet, floral fragrance.

Vaseline Rosy Lips: this rose-scented lip balm has been a handbag staple all month. When applied in the morning, this product keeps my lips hydrated and smooth all day.

Jo Malone Blue Agava & Cacao: I have never smelled anything like this fragrance – it is sweet, musky, spicy and fruity, all mixed into one gorgeous package. It is the perfect scent for a winter day, or a romantic dinner. Since I am awful at describing perfumes, I will leave you with the official description: “The rhythm of Latin music — sexy, edgy and persuasive. Fresh limes and zesty grapefruit dance over a heart of blue agava flower. Sea salt cuts through the primitive rawness of cacao to reveal the sensuality of vetiver, cinnamon and musk.”

Essie Mademoiselle: This pale, sheer pink is so chic and classic, and goes with absolutely everything.
