Happy Friday! Today I have a quick review of this lovely, creamy lip lacquer by Marc Jacobs. I have only dipped a toe into Marc Jacobs Beauty, but the few products that I own from the brand I absolutely love. The Highliner Gel Crayon is the perfect product for applying on the water line or tight-lining the eyes – it won’t budge, smudge or gather at the inner and outer corners of the eyes and the Magic Marc’er Precision Pen is by far, the best felt-tipped liquid liner for creating an easy cat-eye.

Being the lip product lover that I am, I had to try one of the Lust For Lacquer full-color glosses; I went with the shade Paint It, which is described as a ‘terracotta red.’ This lippie’s formula is described as “fully pigmented” and “plumping.” The color is opaque with one application, and provides a gorgeous high shine finish. As far as its claim to plump lips, I do experience a cooling, slight tingling sensation when I first apply the lacquer, and my lips appear slightly fuller [probably not noticeable to others] than they do with other non-plumping glosses.

The formula feels incredibly creamy and smooth on the lips, and the pillowed applicator makes applying the color effortless. The color lasts for several hours, and fades around hour five. The one complaint I have is that I wish the shine finish lasted a bit longer; unfortunately, it won’t last through drinks and meals.

Overall, I really enjoy the Lust For Lacquer Lip Vinyls. They are nourishing, provide gorgeous, opaque color, and their lasting power is impressive! Will you be picking up one of the Marc Jacobs Beauty lip lacquers?
